I'm trying to replace my front disc brake pads and rotors, and can't get the rotors off. It looks like the disc and the center hub are one piece, and that I would need to take off the axle nut in the middle to get it off, but that's not what my manual says.

Any ideas?

Ive done mine recently what ive found is sometimes the disc will rust onto the hub. If your discs are definatly going to be replaced, get a hammer and hit it at the top, bottom, and 2 sides of the disc to work the rust loose, keep working your way around the disc. Before you put the new disc on, get hold of some copper grease and apply it to the part of the hub that makes contact with the disc.
Hope that helps

There are 2 threaded holes in the disc, screw a bolt in each, tighten the bolts in turn thus releasing the disc from the hub, try to avoid any use of a hammer.
