Acouple of days ago I drove through a pot hole big enough to park my aygo in. The radio stopped working total silence. There is no power at all to the radio also I think the !Removed! lighter is dead. I checked the fuse under the bonnet It looks ok ( but It runns the int light ank dash these work ok). Is there a second fuse ? I cant find anything in the hand book. I popped the head unit out all looks ok nothing loose that I can see.

Any ideas ???????????????????????

Cheers

Chris

Ahhh yes this is a very technical term us petrol heads refer to as

"yabrokeit"

I would take to a garage, fix it and then sue council for the pothole damage to your car and refuse to pay road taxes

sorry hope someelse may be more helpful

Radio works on two fuses; one continuous (shared with the dome light

I think) and one sitched with ignition, probably shared with the 12V-outlet.

So you have to check the other fuse too; it's fuse 29, located on the righthand side

of the instrumentcluster, so you have to remove the binnacle cover to acces it.

It's all explained in the manual you got with your car...

Thanks to all who had replyed. You are right If I mearly turned the page in my hand book It would have listed the dash fuse behind the clock shroud. I fished the spair fuse from under the bonet and whay all working now. As a matter of interest have you seen how small the fuses are?

Cheers any way

About half the size of "normal" ones:

These are growing more and more common nowadays...
