Just filled the car for the first time after only 120 miles because I was itching to know if the computer figure reflected real life. Well, the computer said 50mpg average and the calculation said 49.3mpg so I guess the computer is pretty near. Yes I know 50mpg is low but it has consisted of mostly short journeys of 2-3 miles on cold start up in the morning (up hill too) and then 2-3 miles from cold in the evening. Since fuelling I have done about 50 miles today on a variety of roads, but mainly cruising A roads and have got a computer average of 63 mpg and had it upto 74mpg at one point over 20 miles - before i went up a steep hill.

Will be interesting to see what the overage average will work out to for me once I get the car working for a living. Should be doing 100 - 130 miles per day round town. Will keep the fuelly thingy kept upto date, though will probably only do it weekly - for those who are bothered or interested
