Hi All

Well, I'm still kinda bit weepy as I have handed my lovely Vermillion Red Rav to MR T to swap her for my 05 LC4.

It has been a longish road to the exchange but with our 3rd on the way Big Red (as was my Ravs name) became Little Red, and as I'm a Toyota convert I decided that a LC would be the best way to go....

SO it's happened I went for the LC with the rebuilt engine and hope for the best that this was perhaps not a bad decision - I like to think that I've ended up with a 5year young LC with a new heart as such...


Well here goes it....wrooommmm! Beep Beep

you won,t regret it. we changed 06 rav d4d for 57 lc4 auto to tow larger caravan it is better on fuel than rav while towing
& servicing is no more expensive. nothing has broken or gone wrong i love look of range rover sport but work a lot in main dealers
as a mobile windscreen replacement fitter & know which is more reliable

Cheers for that, now that I've got it I do miss the little red car I had, only gripe I'm left with on the LC is I really dont like the under body rust.... looking to get it waxoyled sometime - when I can find a place that will do it... oh and also the drivers seat is quite worn and looks naff so might get it re-trimmed...
Other than that I love it and have already had a family outing in it and it gobbled the whole crew in one... 7 of us....

I don’t want to rain on your picnic but a 4 year old car with a new engine, rust and worn drivers seat? Hope there are no more surprises hiding for you. Sounds like a tough life.

Mr T have been great sofar in sorting things out... New engine was sorted out before I got it... the other bits are things that seem to be coming out the woodwork... but hey ho... got 12mnths MR T warranty on it so if anything goes wrong I hope its in the next 12mnths...
The car itself though is great... as for the drivers seat being worn... I guess who ever had the car before me was a big chap...

If only MR T would have brought out the bigger 7seater RAV over here.....
