Full Version: What Bulbs?

I was wondering if anyone could help, what type of bulbs are used in the headlights? H1, H4 or H7? Reason I ask, although the light output is pretty good, I purchased some Philips X-treme Power bulbs for my previous car and they are a H7 fitment. They cost £35 so I'd like to use them, if not, throw them on Ebay! Thanks

Hello and welcome Jai!

I'm afraid your only option is to sell your bulbs, as Auris has H11 socket...

Nooo, don't sell it. The high beam socket of Auris is H7 ;)

I recommend to do that so that you won't get dissapointed when you'll buy new bulbs for your car and when you start to change them you'll find out that the type you bought is wrong... :)
But maybe you're right as the types can be also different depending on where the car is built. I know that some Auris' made in Japan have different rear bulbs compared to models built in the UK.

Best regards, Alex
