Hi
i own a 2004 toyota camry, less than 2 weeks old with 400 miles on it. when i am at a stop sign or traffic light, once the car is stopped and i go to acclerate i hear a vibration noise that lasts a couple of seconds then disappears. it does not happen every time i stop, but it is annoying especially in a new car. the dealer does not have any idea what it is. when he drove with me of course it did not make the noise.
please help. i am so frustrated.

does it sounds like a tinny vibration?
Try the manifold heat shield if it is.

hi
thanks for the input. the vibration only lasts a few seconds when i acclerate after
being stopped/. do you think the vibration can be from the exhaust system?
what exactly does the manifold heat shield do?
Also there is a scratch on my trunk. do you suggest i get it repainted , or have
another lid put on instead?
the dealer is very little help in all of this.
thanks for your help
