i have a h`91 corolla gti with 120k on the clock, it has started to smoke (blue)
is it piston rings? if so can it be rebored and is it expensive?
valve stem oil seals?

hello hello... your´s corolla engine needs new pistonrings and new valve steams
oil seals... but if it smokes only when you start engine then you have to
change valve steams oil seals... i have over 10 years of ALL of corollas
engines and i know what i write to you... (i´m from finland and i have veryvery
poor english language:) ... it´s necessary to repair your engine becouse it blows
if you not do anything... broken pistonrings doing WERY BAD damage!!!!
in finland pistonrings cost (4a-g engine) 35-60 euros... and valve steam oil seals
10-30euros... new piston (stock size 81mm) cost 20-100euros per one piston.
gaskets 30-80euros. that´s not expensive... isn´t it????
