Hi. have just bought a toyota sat nav system for my new rav4 on ebay. It came without an antenna. Can anyone tell me what antenna I should use and where I can get one?

You should be able to get it as a spare part from any Toyota dealer - part number is 08663-00120. You will also need the antenna earthing plate - 08674-00810 - this should also be available from any Toyota dealer.

The ariel for the Sat Nav from a Toyota dealer is WAY Expensive! You can get a GPS attenna ariel from eBay as well way cheaper with the right connector to just plug straight in

Tell the seller what connector you have and I bet they have one to suit

And the antenna does not have to be visible either - you can push it in the gap under the top dash and above the instrument panel (whip out the head unit and have a feel on the right hand side and you will see what I mean - will work just fine there )
