And there is article here http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/d/67179 about the next RAV4. Converting it to English it says the new RAV4 will be longer, Interior will have more chrome and aluminum decoration and Toyota are debating about giving Europe the V6 (220bhp) engine for new RAV4 that North Amercian 2006 RAV4's are supposed to be getting. On the Avensis forum section superchargedIS200 posted that next RAV4 will get the new 180bhp Diesel engine .

This weeks UK Autoexpress mag has the same picture as above and another spyshot picture of the 2006 RAV4.

No doubt http://www.autoweek.nl/ will have the same story soon Jaco, I also noticed that in the Netherlands that Toyota have launched a new special edition RAV4 and at the bottom of the page it looks like there is talk about the 2006 RAV4 as mentions V6 3.0L http://www.autoweek.nl/newsdisp.php?cache=no&ID=2774

Yep indeed they talking about a bigger engine/car i think more in Landcruiser ideas.
But why did they leave off the spare tyre at the rear?
It looks so very different then the other

It looks so different then the car from 2006 and the other companies who built one like the RAV 4
The special edition has what they called a luxury package.
This includes chairheating/leather covering/parkingsensors/cruise control/automatic airco and this whole package only in the color silver grey. (€ 37440)

Read over at RAVOZ.com that this 2006 RAV4 picutre is a photoshop picture based on the Chevrolet S3X pictures but for sure the front end is exactly like the real spy picture at the top of this post so artist has this part of 2006 RAV4 right at least.
