Hi fellows.
my problem is that when I start my cruiser in the morning everything is OK ,idles at 800 -900 rpm but when warmed up idles at 1200 - 1300 rpm all the time. Any suggestions as to what is causing this ? and the second problem is that when I accelerate from a slow speed there is a very noticable time delay before the speed picks up. Sometimes it is neccessary to floor the accelerator to get the gearbox (auto) to change up. This problem only occurs at low revs. I have just changed the fuel filter which I thought was the problem but no change. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you have an air leak somewhere, check all the small hoses and connections.

Thanks Andy. checked all the vacuum pipes and none are disconnected. I will adjust the play on the throttle and see if this cures it.
