Im am a new Amazon owner and I have noticed that if the mirror selection switch is on left or right and reverse gear is selected, the door mirrors dip and appear to allow better viewing during reversing. When taken out of reverse, the mirrors return to normal. If the adjustment switch is in the centre position, the mirrors dont move. Can anyone throw some light on this???

Yes it is the same on the Lexus, Think it is a safety feature built into these cars.
