Finally got around to hooking up my Creative Inspire speakers and subwoofer to my laptop and am well pleased with the far superior sound I'm now getting. Even the Windows boot up sound is now bearable!

Trouble is, Alienware saw fit to put the audio out socket on the left hand side of the computer, near the front. I'm left handed so mouse and its mat go on that side too and the beautiful pea green plug that Creative saw fit to use gets in the way.

What I need is a short length extension lead with a smaller plug (like an iPod's) that I can trail nearer to the computer. The other end of the lead would be a socket to shove this green plug into. A right angle plug would be even better!

Any ideas or links where I can get these please? I tried eBay and got very confused indeed.

Please help as my new laptop is rapidly losing its street cred!
