Hi Lee,
I take it you bought the yellow 28 off Ebay? Nice purchase.

. I thought the guy who sold it on ebay had a spare bonnet for it, or maybe I'm thinking of another one. Any how, I may possibly have a spare driver's side wing tucked away somewhere. Just to let you know, if you didn't know already, the panels for these cars are getting quit rare now so anyone still running a 23/28 with spare panels tend to keep them just incase the unthinkable happens.
Another option is to get in touch with the Aussie or American forums, panels tend to come up more often in these countries. The good thing about buying from these countries is the fact that you can pic up pretty much rust free panels, the bad thing, price and shipping.
Sorry I can't be any more help.Best of luck with it.

RA28's are a dime a dozen here with straight rust free panels (thank god for the NW and un-salted roads). I'm more then happy to pick up parts at my local junk yard and ship them (Americans hate these and will scrap them if the fuel filter fails).

The hoods sell for $40 USD but shipping will be a killer (coming from Seattle, WA). I can get quotes on shipping if you need me to.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I've been busy preparing the Corolla for the ralley season and watching yet another US election and debating if its worth staying here or not (at least they didn't pick McCain but they screwed up when the democrats picked Oboma instead of Clinton). Anyway I can check on shipping tomorrow. Any idea what it weighs?

OMG from the estimate UPS gave me its not worth it.

Coming from Seattle, WA (I estimated the weight at 40 lbs.) to Ireland came to $356.91 (US dollars). I really don't think a hood is worth $400 USD (shipped).

Regards front wings for us people living in damp and corrosive British Isles there is another option if really desperate -
Fibre Glass wings are still available from 'Smith and Deakin':
