Do any of you belong to other car forums?
I've been flitting around on a few forums for my very soon to be arriving "other" car
What a relief to be back here reading sensible advice and taking part in good natured banter!
Seems that out there in the other forums lurk all sorts of rather nasty individuals who gang up and give you a hard time or pm you with abuse if you don't conform to their point of view or kiss their @ss!! It's tantamount to bullying!
It's nice to be home.........

We have our hiccups now and then, but on the whole it's a pretty good place to be.

Come on then, what's your 'other' car going to be??

The ones I was delving into were more like a cross between some senior members only mutual admiration society and Max Power Magazine!!
And none of them had a clue about cars when the subject matter went further than paint colour and wheel size!
My "other" car is a rfkarejkah lrjeeb - bugger the keyboards playing up again!!

we've been having a few members blasphemy on here and mentioning the BANNED Words H**** C** but we sorted it just in time before an more collateral damage was done....Phew

I almost mentioned it on the No Recall post but just could not I say COULD NOT force my fingers to type it....
I will have to go and get a Brain enema as the fingers are strong but the mind is weak! and make sure that I NEVER think of it again!!!!!! Right think that did it....what was I talking about

Yep jock1 our be glade to help....

PM = Personal Message

If you place your mouse say over my [b]Chatman[/b] name to the left of my post's. You will then get a drop down menu.

Select send message.

This then takes you to a message box alot like the normal topic message box's. Type in your message and title then send.

They pop up on your screen when you refresh your use the View New Post option (Top Right)

Jock c'mon get with the times dude!!!!
It's a personal message/mail that someone can send to you via your forum name, which unless you have disabled it has a link to the e-mail address you gave when you signed up.
It's kinda like sending secret messages to someone you like without others knowing, or in my case, it was sending me loads of abuse that wouldn't have been allowed on the forum!!!!

Now while we 're here, I know what lol means but what does the term ROFL mean - I havent a clue?
