The coolant was low when I bought the car, when I queried this I was told that they find their level and to keep an eye on it.
The header tank is now empty and has taken about a pint to refill to normal level although I cannot see a leak anywhere.
It's going in tomorrow to have a pressure test but maybe 'chargeable ' if no leak is found so I'm a little concerned they may not find one.
Anyone have an idea where I can start looking before I let them loose on it apart from the usual, waterpump etc.
Anything common ?

Yep...........waterpump

That's my educated guess anyway

:o waterpump at 43K .
Another warranty job on the horizon then.

Sounds like the waterpump. Ours needed replacing at 32,000 miles. Apparently it's a common fault with the D-4D on 4.2 RAVs. At least you can get it done under warranty, as we did...
