my handbook states 5w40 for my 1kz landcruiser but I have 0w40 in can anyone see a problem?
I ask as a Toyota tech said its to thin but how can it be when mine is a oil thicker when hot?

Unless you have got thousands of gals of free 0w/40
just save yourself the grief do what i did buy a filter kit from Milners=oil/fuel/air filter +7lts of semi synth 10w/40 oil £60 del to me door all sorted and quality items and sell the 0w/40 to some modern pox box driver:D
