I have a 2003 V6 vvti V6 Petrol Landcruiser Prado. I am looking to have it converted to LPG but the installer has told me that due to this model having a Plastic Intake Manifold it will be an Extra $1000 for the conversion as he has to change the plastic manifold to an aliminium one.

The conversion for the Prado is apparentle quite good as they just replace one of the fuel tanks underneath therefore i lose no cabin space.

I have had a look under the bonet and figure that between me and my retired mechanic father inlaw we can get hold of the manifiold and install for a whole lot less than $1000.

Can anyone give me advice in relation to the above as to any experience in undertaking this project, does the aliminium manifold bolt straight on?

Any advice would be great

I don't think you will find an answer on this site, as not many LC owners on here, you could try http://www.lcool.org/forum/index.php
