Hi all i have a 3sge engine that i am thinking about putting in a kit car, my problem with this is im not sure on a rear wheel drive gearbox has anyone got any ideas ive read about a bit and was told the lexus is200 would fit but a template from the engine block was put against the a lexus box and didnt

The jap import version of the IS200, the altezza came with an option of a 3S engine. as such a gearbox from this car (or bellhousing) will allow you to run a RWD gearbox.

hi m8, the altezza box will deffo fit as i`m currently doing it just now. lexus box would fit with a bit of elongating/alloy welding to the bellhousing..but beware the altezza box is not easy to get(so far cost me £700) suppose its cheap when you consider its a 6 speed box. cheers davy
