hi all i noticed yesterday that my front drivers side window has become really slow opening and closing , has any body had the same problem . or does anyone no what it could be , fingers crossed its not the motor . i did noticed when the car has warmed up a bit it seems to move a bit faster but no where near as fast as the other windows . looking forward to here your commence ....

I'm sure I read that using silicon lubricant helps....as my passenger window is slow and scratchy...but it been that way for 5 years!!

cheers mate , got some silicone spray in the van i surpose i just spray it into the rubber seal around the window .

I guess so - its the channels running vertically in the door and I think the only other thing is to remove the door card to get at the lever mechanism, but I'd be surprised if that was at fault on a younger RAV.

Thats a good idea Bothy, prevention being better than cure... I think I will get some silicone lube and do mine. It can only help the window winder motors if the windows travels easy! :thumbsup:

Hmm yes mine does this too but never really thought of it as a prob.

nice one mate, give it a good spray with silicon and its made a big difference not perfect but i can live will it now .
