Hi
1 click locks door
2 clicks on my old yaris deadlocked everything.
On my rav, if I click again, the lights come on for a longer period ( I think thats what happened ) - what does this mean?
Thanks
Nick

I always double press (on my keyless entry

). never really checked, but guessed it deadlocks the car, as per every other recent car I've had.

Hi Nick,
I read this quesion two possible ways
way 1) If you do on the RAV what you did on the Yaris - what does this mean?
Answer - exactly the same. 1 click is lock doors, 2 clicks is dead-lock doors
way 2) you click once, you click twice and then you click thrice and the lights come on for longer - What does this mean?
Answer - the 3rd click disables the interior motion sensor so you can lock small animals, children and mother-in-laws in the car and they do not have to play statues to prevent the alarm going off - they can bang on the windows as much as they like. The alarm will not set off and they still will not escape.

I have a 4.2 52 reg, and on the second click the alarm goes off. Very annoying if your not sure you pressed it the first time and press again just to be sure. Is this a fault are others the same?

That was exactly what I meant - I dont think I have motion sensors in there though..... will borrow a mother in law and give it a try.

I have a 2004 RAV4.2 and first press locks the vehicle, press again quickly and it double locks the car and flashes the indicators again.
