Hello.
my landcruiser was registered May 1990. Can't remember the model number, a reminder would be welcomed.
Last of the old shape with twin rectangular headlamps. 2H 3980cc diesel non-turbo.
Owned from knew.
Christmas eve blew the gear box or transfer box, big time, whilst towing a heavy trailer up a hill near Blandford.
Fortunately that very nice man got me home in time for mince pies.
Anyone know where I might locate a useable replacement gearbox?
Many thanks,
Nick

The model would be a HJ60 and the gearbox is a H55f . You can use one off a petrol FJ60 if you use your old bell housing. Have you got the old one out,any chance of a rebuild? It might be just the tcase which would be lot easier

No such thing as a HJ62. His has the 2H. There is a FJ62 but that has the 3F petrol engine
