Well guys the time to part company with the LC has arrived ohmy.gif

I am staying with Toyota though and I am buying the following

Avensis T4 Tourer 2 litre automatic with Navigation and protection pack

This is a really nice looking car and I am looking forward to picking it up. The only problem is that because of my specifications I have to wait about 12 weeks for the car to be delivered sad.gif

I do like the look of the new Avensis... good luck with the new motor! thumbsup.gif

I drove one of our Tourer demo models the other day, it is outstanding

The electronic handbrake is a bit weird though wacko.gif

Thank you smile.gif .... I had another look at it today and I am quite impressed with all aspects of the car yes.gif OK the cynics around might say "Its boring" and I appreciate that it is not too everyone's taste also that it is neither in the class of a Jaguar or Mercedes but then again I am not paying £30,000+ smile.gif

Yes John me too.... I had a test drive and the CVT gear box is good, the steering precise, acceleration nice, comfort very good and the build quality is ideal. The amount of goodies on the car is quite impressive. I am pleased with the purchase biggrin.gif

Well the car goes off to the dealer tomorrow so I will be waving goodbye to LC ownership sad.gif

Still, it seems the car is going off to an enthusiastic new owner smile.gif

EDIT.... I took the V5 to the dealer this morning and it seems the new owner is very pleased with the car. He spent 2 hours getting accustomed to it but cannot take delivery until it is taxed huh.gif The dealer suggested that I keep my old tax disc despite my offer that the new guy could buy it off me ohmy.gif But, regardless of all this.... I noticed a deep scratch on the front bumper that I just know was not on the car when I left it there yesterday, I spent 2 years looking after that car and they have it 1 day sad.gif
