I'm geting an irritating vibration nois from somewhere under the dash when I accellerate and get to about 50 mph. If I take my foot off the accellorator then it stops immediately. Anyone got any thoughts on what to look for. It's a medium pitch regular vibration that doesn't change tone or frequency.

I don't think it's particularly serious, just irritating when it happens.

Sound's like one I used to have in my 4.2. I changed to the 4.3 before I got to the bottom of it, but try having a look at this thread -

My wife's 4.2 has a buzzing/rattling noise. I've traced it to the lower part of the steering column shroud and I'll prob end up putting something padded behind it.
