Hello all,

Here I have a question regarding the cruise control found on all the 120 land Cruisers, LC3, LC4, and LC5

I see the slowest speed the cruise control will maintain a setting, is around 35 mph

Has any one been able to find out from Toyota, or other sources if it is possible to lower this speed.

For example, in a situation where the road was very poor for many miles, a set cruise speed of say 15 mph would be very usefull.

Or is there a way of activating the 'POWER HEAT' switch, as we all know this drops out when the engine warms up.
Perhaps one could remove the water temperature input from the ECU bu pulling the connector plug off the water temperature sensor?

My cruise control can set speeds down to about 28mph

None of my other cars went down lower than this so I doubt you will be able to do this to the LC
