hi all
my 1995 landcruiser 4.2 auto 130000 miles cuts out inexplicably whilst driving along.............it will then start with the key straight away and can drive again............it happens in straight line or corners disel tank full or half full all the same.......... it has just been serviced it did it before and continues to do it
can any one help please

Sounds like a fuel supply problem, fit a fuel filter and check all fuel lines, also check the wires to the fuel cut off valve on the pump.

am having a guy look at it sometime next week i will post on here how it gets on with the diagnostics
tim ps have just had it serviced and a new fuel filter fitted

an update to that i have a mechanic suggest to me that it could be the stop solenoid is that the same part being talked about above ?

Yes it's the same thing, could just be a broken wire that is cutting out, also you might find a manual here http://forums.bauchan.org/portal/downloads.php
