Can someone have a look and let me know what the number/code is on the battery in the remote handset for a 97 landcruiser please. I need to get one for my father in-law who lives a couple of hundred miles away and he does not have enough brains to open the remote and look himself. I need to get it for him when we go back down in a weeks time.

It could be a CR2016 but they use so many different fobs that it would only be a guess.

Thanks for the reply's anyway folks. I guess he will just have to wait for me to open it when we go down next saturday. I could ask Mr T but they were looking over £10 for one for my wifes Avensis and i fitted an Energiser or maybe Duracell for £2. I would prefer either of those brands to the Sony one i removed from the handset.
