  1. My MRS exhaust is broken and I am stranded - Can anyone help a damsel in distress?!

  2. Some Questions About Mr2S,

Hi there, I have just been reading through this thread and was wondering if you might be able to help me out too with some advice? I have a MR-S 1999 import and the exhaust has tried to fall off, luckily held on by so many brackets that it wasn't possible! I am told I need a new front section (with Cat replacement pipe?), but I am struggling to find one. Apparently I can only get it direct from toyota which will then need to be imported from Japan and could take up to June 20th. I simply can't wait that long so I have been scouring the internet trying to seek an alternative. A friend of a friend has recommended getting a bespoke one made, but the only problem I hve now is that my garage have removed the old one expecting the part to be delivered from Blizt only to find they sent the rear section in error and then said they couldn't supply the front section... I am lost if I am honest as I don't know enough about cars - just like driving them :( I've just emailed the chap on Ebay that you added a link to so I am hoping he might reply to me soon, but other than that have you any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hello all, I am new to this site and was hoping you guys might be able to give me a little help...? I have owned my Toyota MR-S for four years now and it has been an utter delight, until now. Half way to work my exhaust started blowing extremely loudly, I am told that I need a new front section with a cat replacement pipe but my Toyota specialist garage don't appear to be able to find one unless its directly from Toyota and is imported from Japan. This could take up to June 20th but I need my car to get to work! I have been scouring the internet, but am having no luck. I have just moved house to Fareham in Hampshire (which cost enough without this problem added to it!) and am hoping to find somewhere either local to make a bespoke one and fit it, or purchase one I can send to the garage. Any ideas would be most appreciated. I'm dumnfounded that I don't appear to be able to buy one off the shelf so to speak
