Well 14 hours later there in.... what a mission, but worth every hour.

The celica seats sit you much much lower then the stock CTS seats...this gives you a sporter driving postion, combined with the shorter stick and throw of the TRD short shift and its a real winner... i'd recomend it to anyone to do to there corolla.

enough waffle pictures

Not straight bolt in at all... most of the time was thinking HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO THIS ?

luckly the two front points almost bolt striaght in so the only mod there is a hole drilling, the back fixture points are well out so custom brakets needed making for them.

dont think i could live with the difference of front/rear seats not matching.

good effort all the same.

I know what you mean for the intrim its bearable its not too much of a colour mis match but ideally i would like to get the door cards front and back seats all retrimmed the same got to save to do that though.

I will see what i can arrange.

got the seats off eBay they usually go for around £200,

Airbags plug in to the existing loom that the stock seats plug into.

Being 6' 2" seeing is no problem but my 5' 2" GF does have problems. cts steering wheel has rake adjustment so you can move it down.

Thanks

  • 5 years later...

Sorry for being super late to the party, but do you happen to have any pictures of the modifications you had to do to the rear of the rails?

Cheers!
