it is called the Runx rsi and costs about R200 000

Which equates to about £16,000 (€23,250) for the car, and £800 (€1150) for the insurance.

The official price in France is:

Toyota COROLLA 190 VVTLI TS - €22,000 (£15,000)

but I believe that you can get between 7 and 10% discount

but what makes it worse for you guys is the 'cost of living' its relatively cheap although has increased loads inthe last two years, where else can you buy a pack of 24 smirnoff ice bottles for £2.40 !!!!

thats just an example.

Buying a new car in SA is almost the same impact as buying a house in the UK when you compare rates, wages etc etc....the poor guys get stiched up for 25 years trying to pay back the loan..... :crybaby:

exactly..... and to think they're £3.00 each in a club/pub in the UK, try getting a South African to spend R32.00 on a single drink LOL...

ha ha

I bought 5 cases if ice the other day cost me

about R300 paid it with a smile

cost of living is not bad at all

but things like houses, and cars kills us

was in uk 2 weeks ago cost me a small fortune

for 3 days, almost 2 months car payments

brilliant place uk to expensive for us in S.A

And the funniest thing is that South Africa produces and exports the Australian RunX Rsi (dont know the name there) and it also works out to being R30 000 or R40 000 cheaper in Australia.
