Avensis Steering Rack Help

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good motor factor supplier for a replacement steering rack for my 53 Avensis ?

Toyota dealer has quoted around £1000 to supply and fit, which I cannot afford :o

Not looking for a refurbed one but a new one that can be depended on.

Any help is most appreciated

i work for toyota and to be honest a factor one/recon one is just as good and comes with the same warranty as a oe one.

Thanks for feedback, are some factor ones better than others? or are they sourced from same source?

A little bit worried about using a non toyota part, or am I being paranoid?

all pretty much the same mate and they are honestly just as good not every one can afford 000's for repairs.

honestly your just being paranoid get the factor/recon one and enjoy driving it again.

I have one for sale Genuine Toyota, Part number 44250-05150-84.
