Be gentle it's my first post!

I have a 2002 registered 51 plate avensis.the engine management warning light has illuminated. I can reset it by removing fuses but it returns.

Reading this forum leads me to believe my avensis should have an obd connector to which I can connect a fault code reader!

Can I find it under the steering wheel in the drivers side of the car. No I can't - I am presuming it would be quite obvious? Any advice if either I am not looking in the right place or if my car would not have the connection appreciated!

thanks for help so far! I can't find an internal fusebox in my drivers foot area! So I am starting to think my car is too early a specification! I presume you did not need to remove any carpet or dash to find connector?

Thanks again
