didnt u put the dirt retention spray on wen u fitted it, mines fine i jet wash my engine evry 6 months

a compressed airline is good but you have to be careful that ya dont damage the foam

Yeah I did but don't u need 2 clean it every so often? And if u don't why would they sell a cleaning kit?

I am not an expert but I believe that the dirtier it gets, the better the cleaning performance.

The cleaning kit is for extreme conditions, like major dusty environments etc

I give mine a wee scoosh with compressed air every couple of years or so, whether it needs it or not :)
