Ill Treatment Towards Indian In Thailand (toyota Motor)

Dear TOYOTA

This is to inform you that for the second time,I am being harassed by TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND by supplying a sub standard car in March.

We took the delivery of the Toyota Soluna Vios Car Chasis Number MR 053HY9305093757 and Engine Number 1NZ-X845865

This car was delivered to us on the 9th March 2009.

Before taking the delivery, we had requested the representative of TMT to check the car properly so that we will not run into the problems like the once we had earlier and we were harrassed for more than 2 and a half year before they agreed to replaced the car but with us had to pay more money.

AS informed you, we took the delivery on the 9th March and on the 11th March, the glove compartment fell off.

On checking, they informed us that they had put the glove compartment of another model.

I ASKED THEM WHAT HAPPENED TO THE QC ???????????

At that time a representative of CS Department Mr. Thawatchai who was under influenced of ALCOHOL told us that if we are not happy with the car, WE CAN SUE TMT(TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND) FOR SUPPLYING THE SUB STANDARD CAR or WE CAN SELL IT BACK TO TMT.

On hearing this, I asked him why no offer OF REPLACING THE CAR. Or that TMT THAILAND KNOWS THAT THEY ARE MANUFACTURING SUB STANDARD CARS TO THE THAI PEOPLE.

After that, we started having problems with SCHOCK ABSORBER, BRAKES. AIR CONDITIONS. Every time we take the car for checking, we would be told that THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS and many times, they had done the reparing.

SINCE TAKING THE DELIVERY , WE HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO THE SERVICE CENTER FOR MORE THAN 20 TIMES, AND SURPRISINGLY THEY DO NOT PUT INTO THE RECORD NOR THEY ISSUE ANY DOCUMENTS OF SERVCING which is a way not to acknowledge that they car was taken for reparing.

ALL THE PROBLEMS STILL PERSISITS, AND WE HAVE SOME DOCUMENTS WHICH SHOWS THAT THERE ARE PROBLEMS BUT TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND REFUSE TO ACCEPT IT.

We are left with no alternative but to sue TOYOTA MOTOR or WE MIGHT DECIDE TO SMASH THE CAR and to do that WE ARE GOING TO INVITE THE MEDIAS TO MAKE A NEWS OUT OF IT.

We are forwarding the complain e-mails to all lthe people we know and all the regionall newspapers to inform the readers how bad service is being rendered by TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND.

May be you are aware that in India, SOME OF THE PARTICIPANT IN THE CONTEST WHO WON BUT WAS NOT GIVEN THE PRIZE BY TOYOTA MOTOR INDIA has already taken TOYOTA MOTOR INDIA to the Consumer Court and I am sure they wil have tought time coming out of that.

UNFORTUNATELY TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND IS REGULARLY PAYING BRIBE TO THE AUTHORITIES IN THAILAND TO RULE AGAINST PEOPLE WHO COME TO COMPLAIN.

If you can read Thai, you will see thousands of complains like my complain in the Internet on TOYOTA SUB STANDARD CAR AND REFUSAL OF ACCEPTING THE RESPONSIBILITY BY TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND.

For your in formation, I AM GOING TO MAKE A SIGN BOARD ON ALL THE SIDES OF MY CAR INFORMING PEOPLE OF THE ATTITUDE OF TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND AND FOR THE READERS TO THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING TOYOTA CARS BESUCE IF THEY BUY TOYOTA , THEY WILL BE GETTING PROBLEMS AS A BONUS LIKE WE HAVE GOT TWICE.

WE HAVE REPORTED THIS MATTER TO MR. TANADA, THE PRESIDENT OF TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND, BUT HE IS ALSO GIVING A COLD SHOULDER WHICH MEANS THAT TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND'S AIM IS ONLY TO CHEAT PEOPLE BY SUPPLYING SUB STANDARD CARS TO MAKE MORE PROFIT.

I am attaching 2 letters I have written to Mr. Tanada for your reference, and from this weekend, you will get ALL THE CC COPIES OF OUR LETTERS SEND OUT TO PEOPLE WARNING THEM OF USING TOYOTA CAR.

I am sure you are aware that SALES OF TOTYOTA CARS IN THAILAND HAS DROPPED CONSIDERABLY. THE REASONS ARE NOT ONLY DUE TO ECONOMY DOWN TURN, BUT IF YOU INVESTIGATE, YOU WILL FIND THE THE POOR SERVICE AND REFUSAL OF RESPONSIBILITY IS THE MAIN FACTOR BROUGHT DOWN THE SALE IN THAILAND. Otherwise, the other brands would have been in the same situation, but they are doing much better becuase they do care for the CUSTOMERS.

I got bored after the first few paragraphs...

This site is an "Un-Official" Toyota Owners Club in the UK!!

I'd suggest speaking to Toyota Thailand if you have a problem as TOC and Toyota GB are unable to help you...

Yeh I kind of skimmed through it. Toyota Thailand are the ones to talk to.

Makes me reconsider getting an apprenticeship with them. but it does look very appealing. :D

Yup

We are two small islands off the edge of Europe, admittedly 1 larger than the other.

We speak the same language, basically, except for local idioms & slang. There is a lot of Irish blood in the UK & likewise a lot of British, Scotch & Welsh blood in Ireland.

History should be ignored, except for the lessons to be learned from it.

Therefore i have to agree with movistargsxr

There are quite a few Irish members, who maybe aren't quite as vocal as some :D

I bet that Em[Demonic Angel} will be along shortly to reprimand us for going :offtopic: :help2: :bash: :lol2:

British??? can you explain the difference between British and Scotch (thats whiskey.. but I will assume you mean Scots or Scottish) and Welsh?

I thought people from Scotland and Wales were British, I hope you are right though as I would rather not be British, I am a patriotic Scotsman and as such feel that Scotland is Scottish when bad things happen but it strangely becomes Britain when good things happen.. same with England... except, when good things happen England is England but when bad things happen England becomes Britain... go figure!

As an Irish man... I hope that was a slip of the tongue (so to speak) you should know better, especially when it comes to patriotic people... and you don't get much more patriotic than the Scots and the Irish... right?

Don't take this personally... I'm just making a patriotic point :P

I think you will find that whiskey is Irish - Scotch, is whisky. Did you say you were a Scot? . . . . :o

. . . . . and just for fun, can I point out that the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are not part of the UK either - they are Crown Dependencies.

Do you mean a Scot or a Scotch? :lol

I am aware of the different spellings for what I call whisky... but as I was addressing an Irish man I thought I would use the Irish spelling. ;)

My point was that a Scotsman or Scot isn't a Scotchman... Scotch is what people call whiskey/whisky (take your pick, whiskey - American/Irish or whisky - Scittish/Japanees/Canadian) in this case Scots or Scottish should have been the term used. ;)

The term "Scotch" actually means "to do with Scotland" normally used in terms such as whisky and beef etc. To use it to refer to a person is sometimes considered pejorative.

Well actually the correct Irish spelling for that particular beverage is: Uisce Beatha (translated to English it literally means, water of life!!!) :D

Just having a laugh, I know we have gone :offtopic:

*Still off topic*

They did try getting an Irish server but two people were already using it, the Scottish one was a waste of time because they were too tight to let anybody else use it and the Welsh one could only be used by the Welsh, we did try for a Yorkshire server but they thought it was to supply fish & chips ;)

Welcome to the club yogibkk, It's a shame that your only two complaint threads are exactly the same in different forums (we call that "Spamming"), please refrain from doing this on future posts...If you post again.

Thank you.

Don't worry  I am not offended & don't take offence easily :lol:

I DO plead guilty of sloppy phrasing :(

I agree with your sentiments entirely, though the point I was making is that we are all basically from the same mixture. The Celts populated the 2 Islands 2-3 thousand years ago. Since then we have all had an injection of Roman, Danish, & Norman blood, with a touch from other Nationalities for good measure.

Keeps the gene pool strong

The only reason the server wasn't in the South was due to the stupidly high prices... and the fact that it would only let you post in cockney rhyming slang.....
