Morning All

I am looking to change my 1999 Avensis 1.8 GLS. I have seen a 2004 (Jun 2004 registered) 2.0 Ltr VVTI T-Spirit Automatic saloon.

It is from a dealer windscreen price at £6299 but can probably get it for £6099.

What are owners views on this model of car and is there anything in particular I should look out for. I am due to have a test drive on Friday morning. What do owners get mpg wise. My current 1.8 GLS does 45 mpg on long journies (43 when the missus is on board - told her recently and still have the scars and bruises!!!!) but consiserably less around town.

Any help and assistance would be appreciated.

I have a 55 plate model, mpg of around 35-40 and I do mainly m/way miles, otherwise the car is fine....
