HI GUYS GOT A PROBLEM ON MY HANDS IV GOT A CELICA GEN 7 WHICH HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT BUT NOW IT ONLY REVS UP TO 3000 RPM LIKE ITS ON A LIMITER ANY IDEAS WHAT THE PROBLEM CAN BE....HELP GUYS NEED YOUR ADVISE

Sounds like it could be in "limp mode", is the Engine management light on?.. commonly known as CEL or MIL light, if so you need to get the code read to see what the problem(s) is.

I'm no mechanic and have no idea what the problem might be, but have you tried resetting the ECU to see if anything changes.

Wait for more replies as I wouldn't want you to cause more damage by running the car without more info.

hi mate ye engine management light is on.think will get it diagonosed but just wanted to see if anyone had ideas on what the prob could be really hope its nothing major.
