How much fluid is needed for my car? Im driving a 1996 Land Cruiser Prado TX 1kz-te or Land Cruiser FJ90(it shud be the same isnt..?).
I wanna know how much ATF is needed for my auto gearbox and power steering. Also, it could be helpful if you include other information like the front diff, rear diff, center diff, etc..
thx alot! been looking for these information for days. couldnt find it!

When you drain the auto box not all of the fluid comes out, as a load will stay in the torque convertor, so you need to measure what comes out and replace the same amount, I would think that it would be around 4-4.5 ltrs.

hmm.. they only sell 4 liters bottles of the atf. looks like I have to buy two. :S

By the way,your Prado is a KZJ90 if its a 3 dr,a 5 dr is a KZJ95
The first 2 letters indicate the engine type. This system is used all through the toyota range

What is the color of the fliud when you drain it out? Blackish or other colors?
