To Phoenix999.

Thank you to all who put my name forward. But i shall have to gracefully withdraw myself from this election due to certain financial irregularities & certain behaviour of the T.Wood type. Which i shall continue to deny, even when proven guilty.

Regards, Beagh. AKA, Alan *****.

See this is where I am going wrong, not starting one of these threads :P

I had an idea that at least one person would think this but what the heck.... all I am really concerned about is that apathy may be allowed to rule as it does all too frequently, having looked at the number of people casting a vote then sadly it seems that it does. I would like everyone to vote and for them to vote for the person/s they want.

As for my thoughts on being a moderator  If people have a decent memory then they may well recall my words on such a subject ;)

To Phoenix999.

As you are aware i was nominated & even received some votes, bit of a shock that was. All joking aside, i have read through more of the postings in regards to moderator nominations.

And to have some 80,000 members & only up to around 60 votes is to say the least is a complete joke, a lot of people on this forum need to move on, they don't deserve it. I don't give much a way in my profile, accept to say i HATE one post wonders who expect answers straight away but give absolutely no feedback.

That pretty much covers this forum, i can think of about 20 or so people only who are always ready with advice for postings. A technical question has appeared on the forum over the last couple of days, i'll bet you a £ to a Penny if this user gets an answer, you will receive no feedback what so ever.

Phoenix is aware of my situation at this moment in time via PM & as to why i don't have the time to commit myself whole heartedly to forum if i had of been one of the winners.

People will place post regarding tyre pressure & battle ensues with plenty answers. So if you can get excited over tyres, why not place a vote at the same time. Use it or lose it.

Regards, Beagh.

PS:If you disagree with anything i have said above, shoot me down in flames. It's no bother, but read posting properly first.

To reece.

What can i say. Good man yourself, it's not compulsory to vote or even to waste your time telling other forum users you have not voted.

Regards, Beagh.

Of course it’s not compulsory, but it’s a waste of my time reading the pages of people saying who they have voted for (with a bit of sucking up from some) I would like to the add to the topic that I won’t be voting

Reece.... it is your vote so it is your right to either use it or not. But, as you have decided not to use it then I trust that you will not feel that you are entitled to moan or gripe as to the way the club/forum progresses.

Regards

Deciding not to vote doesn’t bar me from having my say, by the way you’re not a mod yet so wind your neck in (or are you practising?)

As this topic is showing I think you have a problem with people on here having an opinion that conflicts with your own.... you appear, to me, to be turning into a keyboard warrior and they are all too common. Sadly you have little or nothing to add that is constructive in this topic

You are correct when you say "Deciding not to vote doesn’t bar me from having my say".... but an aspect to consider is that when expressing yourself you will just possibly be in the position where 'your say' will carry little or no weight!

Now feel free to continue to 'have your say' and that will just possibly confirm my thoughts above

You think I have a problem with people that have opinions different to me? I think you have it back to front phoenix999, you’re shouting from the roof tops (for some strange reason) and I’ve expressed an opinion (calm and polite) and commented that I haven’t (and have no intention of) voted, you’ve said it your self, it’s my right not to use it, now you start on the personal attacks and we don’t even know each other!

How about Foxtrot Oscar’ing out of here?! ;)

I think there is a hidden agenda with this one, so I’m not going to fuel the fire!

If I didn’t know any better I would think phoenix is desperate to be a mod, he’ll be canvassing on the streets soon... Gotta go, there’s somebody at the door

You confirmed my thoughts especially with the "Foxtrot Oscar’ing" comment. Feeble and ill thought out.... well done. Also your words of "I’ve expressed an opinion (calm and polite)" did make me laugh  'Polite'.... no way

I'll not justify my post where I said "You have a vote.... Please use it  other than to say.... read it for what it says, there is no hidden message within it.

Reece.... Sorry but you have sunk quite low here and I suggest you slope off elsewhere ;)
