This will not affect warranty.

Fitting is easy: pull the light out of the trim, connect the red wire to the

red wire and the black wire to the white wire with a black strip. DONE!

and tie all with a zip...push them gently back in!

2 yrs and working fine, not affecting warranty...

Ι think you say too many. I 've timed mine and the least is 1-2secs the most 10secs.

just wondering, does it trigger the "door open" light? for 14 seconds after closing all doors

Aygo's don't have a door-open light... The lights-on warning buzzer WILL sound!

On other cars it may deend on the way the light is connected to the switches.

Thanks for the link Welshviking.

Just fitted one myself and it works great.

Don't know if my wiring is different because I don't have a white wire with a black trace behind the light.

I ended up fitting it beside the door switch as per the supplied instructions, just below the seatbelt.

How long it stays on seems to vary and depend on how long the door is open for. If I open and shut the door quickly it lasts less than 10 seconds, but if I leave the door open for 10 secs or more it stays on for 15 to 20 secs.

All I need to do now is find out how to wire it into the central locking so the light comes on when I unlock the car :) (pointless I know, but it'll look cool!)

What you want is next to impossible with those cheap delay-thingies...

What wirecolors DID you have at the dome light?

...Yes, thought it might.

They were white, blue and red.

Just for info, the unit I fitted was designed to fit beside the door switch, the units red wire connected to the switch wire, and the black wire connected to earth.

The white wire is ground, red is from the switch (changed to pink somewhere at a junction), blue is positive.

Whether you connect the delay at the door or at the light doesn't matter, as the electrical connection is exactly the

same, I've allways installed them at the light since it doesn't involve removing trim at the B-pillar, so it saves time.

Did you change the bulb to one that consumes less power?

Like an LED-bulb or something like that?
