Help/advice Needed On Zinc Or Sr

I am purchasing a used yaris next week and have narrowed it down to a 2007 plate 5 door zinc model with 11k mileage and great condition and a 2008 plate 1.3 sr model 5 doors and 18k mileage in great condition. I was just hoping for some advice on which to purchase as they are the same price but the sr comes with a built in sat nav, spoiler and some other extras.

Any help would be much appreciated

I would definately get the SR for the looks!

18k mileage is not a lot for a 2008 Yaris anyway.

Another vote for the SR - we have two!

You'll also get some dealer warranty too with a 2008 car.

Check if the gearbox "crunches" going into second gear - don't worry if it does, as there is a warranty fix to replace the selector shaft - but assuming you buy the SR, you want to make sure you get that done whilst its still under warranty, as you might have to pay for it later on....

Those 16" alloys alone on the SR were a £900 option to buy separately, then you get the lowered suspension, the roof spoiler, fog lights, sat nav, bluetooth phone kit, USB MP3 connection, front door scuff plates, alloy gear knob and a chromed exhaust pipe.

If you have an iPod, theer's also a cable you can buy extra to plug into the back of the SR radio to allow you to play and control the iPod through the touch-screen of the radio/sat nav unit too...

After you've got it, fit some "Philips Silver Vision" silver front indicator bulbs and some Philips X-treme vision H4 headlight bulbs.

The silver indicators make the front of the car so much better - hiding the orange of the standard indicators and the X-treme vision headlight bulbs are twice as bright as the standard units and make life so much better at night.
