I was going to get a 12v Battery tester, as my amp is on all the time, and i just wanted to monitor the Battery charge, especially when winter is back, any have one already or know of a decent budget one? there are some cheap ones on eBay but no idea if their rubbish or not one i saw under a tenner but was an led display.

Do you know how much current the amp draws continuosly.

It's surprising how quickly a small quiescent current can discharge an older Battery where the capacity (A/H rating) may be well down on what it was when new.
