Hi Folks! :)

Do we as TOC member have a membership No.

If so where is it?

Insurance surfing at the moment and this question popped up

Can anyone recommend a good, reputable (actually pay out), reasonable price, monthly payment insurance co.

My insurance has gone up yet again ~ full no claims, no points etc. so why the :ffs: has it gone up?

To pay for the scum who either have no insurance or those who falsely claim

There's Club Toyota - the official Toyota UK Club which subscription gets you AA coverage as well - and the membership number is on the card you get from them.

Toyota Owners Club - this forum - can be signed up to and you pay a subscription, which allows you to advertise bits'n'pieces. I suspect there is a subscriber's number. Or you can just join in for free.

Call me a tightwad, but I feel all funny when the word subscription is mentioned

Call me a tightwad

Okay - you're a tightwad :D

My insurance is up in 2 weeks time. Did all the price comparison sites. They still couldn't beat my normal insurer - and haven't done so for the last 7 years. I use Privilege My T180 with business mileage, fully comp, no claims protection is £298.

I had an accident some time ago. Everything was done in one telephone call with Privilege - nothing to sign. Car was picked up, repaired and returned.

I use NFU Mutual. Dunno what they are like for urban postcodes but competitive here in Devon. Not the cheapest, not the dearest but when I needed their :help: last year :crybaby: they were very good indeed. All done with a phone call and no quibbling. Local repairers and courtesy car, good job done with no stress.

I use them as well in a semi-rural area. I stick with them because the customer service is so good. Temporary drivers - no problem! Accident - no problem! Cover for driving abroard - no problem! I could get cover for about £280/year from another company but pay them £330 and consider it money well spent. I think that the level of customer service that you get depends on which branch you deal with. Our local branch has a patchy reputation but I deal with one in Kent :toast:

you could always buy a landrover - I have fully comp, for only £64 !!! The fact thats its in a barn for the past 20 months is of no consequence or relevance as thats where they all live.
