Wind Noise

On my 4.3 D4D I get a noticeable wind fluttering noise from the area around the front passenger's side window (although the noise is very difficult to pinpoint and it could be just about anywhere on that side of the car).

I have checked the following: door seals look perfect, folding the mirrors in makes no difference and the little plastic covers under the mirrors are tight, all the seals in the corner of the bonnet look ok and the wipers park correctly. I cant think of where else to look and the car looks like new with no obvious accident damage. The noise starts at about 50 mph.

Any suggestions?

Jon

Just pop that plastic cover off under the mirror and stick some blutac under it and have a look the all the plastic trim in the corner of the windscreen looks OK and matches the drivers side. It might have had a windscreen at some stage.

Thanks for your reply.I'll check out the windscreen seal and the mirror cover. I'm even considering sealing the door, window, sunshine roof etc. temporarily with masking tape to try to find where the noise is getting through.
