Vsc Trc And Abs Lights On Permanently

Hi,

I have the following lights on permanently, VSC, TRC, and ABS.

The car is an Avensis 2.2 D4d T3 2006

I have tried resetting using the errors using the 'hold odometer reset button for 5 seconds' thing as shown in the user manual, but it made no difference.

I have noticed that the brakes feel a bit gritty when braking hard, and I wondered if the brakes were getting low it would cause these lights to come on.

I have also noticed in some threads that Toyota have blamed this or a similar problem on glow plugs, but the car starts perfectly and everything else is perfect, plenty of power etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Problem solved,£1.50 later and back on the road, happy days.

Steve, what did you do? I've had this same problem for months now and the fuel ecomony is suffering. I had it in to my local garage who said that the left hand from brake had seized on, this was the second time in a year that this problem has occurred. Anyway, they stripped down the caliper, renewed the pads and knocked the VSC etc off. Everything was fine for a day then lights on again. Now I've realised that I've not been getting that familiar clunk of the brakes when starting the car, this has got to have something to do with it.
