Lucky Horseshoe?

Had a lovely walk with the wife and our pooch “Henry” around the lanes on Sunday.

Along the way we passed two lovely ladies on horseback and thought nothing more of it

However, on returning to our car, which by the way was parked as far over into the edge of a very quiet country lane as is possible to do.

Was greeted by a nice white dent slap bang in the middle of the osr door in the shape of a horse hoof! :censor:

With the cost of the XS on my recently acquired insurance, i doubt it is worth claiming.

Anyone had the use of Dent Devils or similar experience and prices just as a guide would be appreciated.

Thanks, Nige.

Ouch nasty - some people. I would not have walked away if my horse had caused that damage.

I have used dent devils in the past but they are limited to what they remove. I think repair success will depend on the engineer ability. If the door skin is creased it might be difficult to remove completely. I recently needed a new door skin fitted to my Golf and it didn't work out to expensive at a local body shop - around £350. Another option might be to try 1st choice spares your request gets punted out to breakers all over the country and they will get back to you if they have parts you request. You might be able to pick up a new door skin or even whole door for much cheaper than you think. Worth a look anyway

my XS is £500 so anything under that would be nice. Cheers.

Is that photo the right way up or was the horse lay on its side when it kicked the car?

It must have just booted the door on passing? Just kicked a leg out in disgust!! Maybe the horse in question gets towed by one, and is sick of the faulty accelerator pedals and faulty brakes, Make`s it a rough ride for said horse!!!

Nehhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! :horse:
