I was wondering which connector ,steering wheel controls are coonected in Corolla verso. I treid measuring voltage while pressing the buttons and checking on 20 pin connector which has got three wires Black,white and blue.
my car is 2004 (54 reg) buttons on the steering wheel. As I need to buy patch lead for my chinese after market multimedia system.
Is this the correct one or some other one can somebody help me please.

Some Toyota have AVCLAN controls, other toyota have resistive controls. Resistive controls don't need an adaptor. Maybe you need to look at the schematic, perhaps 3 wires is resistive and 4 wires is AVCLAN.

hei again i look at the drawings again there seems to be 4 wires
one for ground
one for plus
one for signal (1)
one for signal (2)
when i took the orginal radio out of my avensis
i also found a box under the radio that says steering wheel control, from that box was a orange wirer that went up in my origal radio unit( 6 cd's in a 2 din )
to my suprise ther was a socket with 20 pin. that didn't have to go in the aftermarket radio.
sorry for my english i am from denmark.
