To Buy Or Not To Buy...2008 Avensis D4D 2.2 Estate Tr

Hi, I'm new to the forums so here goes my first Q. Considering buying a 2008 Avensis D4D 2.2 Estate TR. Car is in excellent condition throughout... Was a company vehicle before so has high milage - 56000Miles(suppose not too bd for a diesel), but has a full service history. Just wondering if there is anything i should be checking and what to watch out for on this car? Had a look through the forums and there is alot of mention of head gaskets going on the 2.2 model....makes me a bit concerned. How good are all the electrics? There is alot of gadgets onboard.
