I am based in Zimbabwe and having problems sourcing the front shocks for my Toyota Levin. I am prepared to import the shocks provided the price is fair. Please help me if you know of suppliers who supply the front shocks. The details of my car are as follows:

Type of Body: SEDAN

Chassis: AE101-5034980

Engine no.: 4A-2429049

I have attached the picture of the shock. Thank you in advance.

TOYOTA Zimbabwe does not stock spares for Japanese vehicles. I have tried them without any luck. That is why I am now planning to import. Anyway, thatnks for the reply!

TOYOTA Zimbabwe will be able to source and import these partsfor you under their trade import licence.........It could be the most economical way of making sure that you get genuine TOYOTA parts at the best price.

I would recommend that you give them a chance to source and supply your parts

I finally got the shocks here in Zimbabwe from one of the car parts sellers. I am now working on the suspension as it was damaged. i.e. ball joints, bushes, c v joints e.t.c. Thank you for the assistance rendered. Will post the pictures of my Levin once it has been done.

Pleased that you have sourced some of your parts

It may be a good idea to post up some "Before" and "After" pictures so that we can see the progress that you are making. :)
