Hey all, i was hoping if anybody has any thoughts on this one. I have an 04 celica (t sport) and have noticed that it misfires when it goes on cam (around 7000rpm) but nothing before that! No warning lights have come up either. Could this be a timing problem?

Welcome to the forum. Best try posting this in the Celica section.

Maybe the engine is trying to tell you that its gasping for air??

That's hitting the "Rev Limiter" ... normal for your Tsport

Not quite.... 7k rpm is the limit when the engine is cold.... when warm it will rev to 8.5k rpm

The engine is warm when it does this and not at is rev limit. Also had the spark plugs changed couple of months ago so could this be a faulty spark plug or even a lead earthing out some where? Performance is still at its peak so dont think the engine is gasping for air.
