Rear Windscreen Question

I've just bought a Toyota Yaris which I am very happy with except I noticed the other day when I put on the rear de-mister that only the top three bands where working. Does this mean I have to have a new rear windscreen or can it be fixed?

You can buy repair kits to join the broken elements I believe.
