Hmm.. interesting...

The above "locations" picture is from the Toyota Avensis Diagnostics Guide, model 2002-2007.

I think Toyota built those. :)

The picture is for the 1CD-FTV engine.

In case you would have a 1AZ-FSE engine, it's in a different location. The attachment shows a whole lot of other sensor locations that are asked for here repeatedly.

Another nice one is the entire engine control diagram.

BTW, this manual was part of a huge download, but I forgot the location.

I think I once got the URL from t-spirit-pete.

I don't own a 2002-2007 Avensis, but a 2010 one.

I'm just keeping this kind of documentation as a reference.

I hope to lay hands on a similar download of Avensis 2009- onwards manuals some time.
